This 7-day journey follows the legendary wildebeest migration through Lake Manyara, the Ndutu plains where calving season unfolds, and the central Serengeti plains where big cats rule. You will finish your adventure inside the world-famous Ngorongoro Crater—Africa’s Garden of Eden.
Perfect for guests seeking dramatic wildlife scenes, migration moments, and iconic landscapes.
Your safari begins with a beautiful drive from Arusha toward the Great Rift Valley escarpment. As you enter Lake Manyara National Park, the scenery changes instantly—towering mahogany trees, a cool groundwater forest, and bursts of birdlife everywhere.
You’ll explore the lakeshore where pink ribbons of flamingos stretch across the water, visit hippo pools, and search for the famous tree-climbing lions resting on acacia branches. Elephants often emerge from the forest, offering incredible close-up moments.
Overnight: Tented Camp
After breakfast, you’ll ascend into the misty Ngorongoro Highlands, passing Maasai villages and sweeping landscapes. As you enter the southern Serengeti plains, the world opens into endless grasslands.
This is Ndutu—one of the most dramatic migration zones. Your afternoon game drive focuses on tracking the massive wildebeest herds that cover the plains like a moving carpet. Expect action: hyenas, cheetahs, and jackals following the herds closely.
Overnight: Tented Camp
Today is dedicated to the famous calving season, where thousands of wildebeest give birth across the plains. You’ll witness tiny calves taking their first steps within minutes of being born—while predators like lions and cheetahs watch closely.
It’s one of Africa’s most emotional and dramatic wildlife spectacles, with constant movement, energy, and the raw cycle of life.
Expect incredible photography opportunities as you follow the herds throughout the day.
Overnight: Tented Camp
You’ll leave the southern plains and begin the journey deeper into the Serengeti. The landscape slowly shifts from open grasslands to the iconic Serengeti savannah dotted with rock kopjes.
Central Serengeti (Seronera Valley) is famous for its predator density—especially lions, cheetahs, and leopards.
Afternoon exploration focuses on riverine forests, cooling pools where lions rest, and kopjes where lions and hyraxes warm themselves in the sun.
Overnight: Tented Camp
Today you have a full day to follow the migration herds within the Seronera region. Your guide will take you to the best areas based on current wildlife movements.
Depending on the season, you may even witness smaller river crossings as wildebeest push through water channels in search of greener pastures.
The day ends with a classic Serengeti sunset as the plains glow golden and wildlife silhouettes appear against the horizon.
Overnight: Wildlife Tented Camp.
Enjoy a final Serengeti game drive as you slowly make your way out of the park. This is the perfect chance to capture last sightings of elephants, giraffes, cheetahs, or herds of zebras marching across the plains.
As you climb toward Ngorongoro, the temperature cools and the scenery transforms into lush highlands.
Your lodge sits right on the crater rim, offering breathtaking golden-hour views into the caldera—a truly unforgettable sight.
Overnight: Wildlife Tented Camp.
An early descent takes you into the Ngorongoro Crater, one of the most wildlife-dense places on Earth. Surrounded by towering crater walls, you’ll encounter lions, buffaloes, elephants, hippos, flamingos, and possibly even the rare black rhino.
After a rewarding morning of wildlife viewing, you’ll enjoy a picnic lunch by the hippo pool before driving back toward Arusha, marking the end of your migration adventure.
