Your safari begins early in the morning with a warm pick-up from your hotel in Arusha. After a short briefing, you depart on a scenic drive through local towns, Maasai homesteads, and open countryside as you make your way toward Tarangire National Park—a journey of about 2.5 hours.

The moment you enter Tarangire, the landscape opens into vast plains dotted with towering baobab trees, creating one of Tanzania’s most iconic safari scenes. The park is home to some of the largest elephant herds in the country, often seen moving gracefully between the woodlands and the Tarangire River. Your game drive takes you across river valleys and rolling hills where you may encounter zebras, giraffes, wildebeest, lions, buffalo, and hundreds of colorful bird species.

At midday, you stop for a picnic lunch inside the park—surrounded by nature and overlooking wildlife-rich plains. The game drive continues in the afternoon, giving you more time to enjoy Tarangire’s breathtaking scenery and wildlife diversity.

After an early breakfast, you depart for the Ngorongoro Conservation Area. As you approach the crater, the cool mountain air and lush highlands welcome you. Soon you arrive at the crater rim, where a dramatic panorama opens up before you—one of the world’s most famous natural wonders.

You descend nearly 600 meters into the heart of the crater, entering a world often compared to a natural wildlife kingdom. With its permanent water sources and rich grasslands, Ngorongoro Crater hosts an extraordinary density of animals including lions, buffalo, zebras, hyenas, elephants, hippos, and—if you’re lucky—a rare sighting of the critically endangered black rhino.

Midday, you stop for a picnic lunch near the hippo pool, enjoying the peaceful atmosphere and the sounds of wildlife all around you. The game drive continues throughout the afternoon as you explore the crater floor’s forests, lakes, and open savannah.

After a full day of incredible wildlife viewing, you ascend back to the rim and head to Tented Camp / Lodge for dinner and a restful night overlooking the crater.

After breakfast, you set out for a morning game drive in Lake Manyara National Park, famous for its lush groundwater forests and varied landscapes. As soon as you enter, you are surrounded by giant fig trees and mahogany forests where troops of baboons often roam in impressive numbers.

Along the lakeshore, you may spot flocks of flamingos, hippos wallowing near the water’s edge, giraffes feeding among the acacia trees, and—if nature smiles on you—the park’s legendary tree-climbing lions resting on branches above.
